One thing I have always lamented about Seattle is the lack of snow. The outlying areas, especially nears the foothills of the Cascades, will at times get a decent accumulation of snow. Here in the city proper, however, the best we ever do is about an inch that seems to melt away as soon as it hits the ground. Much to my surprise, we've had two major snowstorms hit the area this week and there's talk of the first white Christmas in this area in twenty years.

wow. are you guys going to be able to fly out of there at some point?
'tis the season! and it must be easier to enjoy when your home requires no shoveling and you can park underground.
We did indeed make it out of there at some point...1:30 a.m. to be exact. Our scheduled departure time was 5:10 p.m., we made it to Farmington at roughly 4:00 a.m. Tons of fun that was.
