Au Revoir, Tyler

Lately I have been hearing Tyler say things like, "the older I get, the more I enjoy hanging out by myself," or "I would rather see a movie by myself than go with someone that I know." He'll just blurt these phrases out with me sitting right beside him and I have to admit, I do get a little offended.

Tyler just left for Utah today and normally I would be whining all the way to the airport telling him not to go, but today was different. I gave him a hug, a kiss, and told him to have a safe trip then drove off with a smile. I know, it sounds harsh but I am really looking forward to this weekend all to myself. I already have it planned out and I am going to do all the things that Tyler hates. Here is my list:

Dinner with the girls
Spend hours in Forever 21
Go up and down every aisle in Costco
Eat pizza for dinner two nights in a row
Lay out in the sun for hours

Tyler, have a nice trip and I'll see you on Tuesday. I must be getting old!!

A day with T&T

Tyler's mom booked a long layover to Seattle so she decided to bring Tawni and Travis along for a mini vacation. The only problem was that they decided to reroute Tammy's plane so when they landed in Seattle, Tyler picked up Tawni and Travis at they airport and then Tammy had to fly to Cincinnati........so sad! And although it would have been more enjoyable to have the "crazy pinapple" tag along with us, we still had a blast with Tawns and T-dogg! I love it when Tyler's family comes to visit because we plan our whole day around what we are going to eat and while we are eating we are planning our next meal. I love it, and I love that they don't make me feel guilty about it!

Me and Tawni trying to stay warm at the Mariners game. It was raining like crazy! I think they won......

Tyler had to go to class that night, so I treated T&T to our favorite Thai eatery, Bai Pai.

Some people actually have jobs!

My best friend from childhood was here on a business trip so Tyler and I got to take her to dinner and show her around our city. It was great seeing her and catching up on the present and the past. I hope you had a great time here in Seattle, please come back and visit soon. I love you Meg!

I am married to Clay Aiken

Well, we made it. Tyler has officially finished his third year of school and I finished my first quarter of nursing school! If you had about 10 days off in between quarters and didn't have a job, what would you do with all your spare time? I bet you would spend it straightening your husbands hair with your flat iron. Tyler has been growing his hair out (and I have been trying to convince him to cut it) for about three months now. For some reason, he thought that it would look better if it was straighter. Wow, were we both wrong! Here are a couple of styles that we came up with:

This one I like to call his "panic at the disco" hair because it looks so punk rock.

To me, this one looks a cross between an 80's wig, teen wolf, and Tom Cuise's hair in Mission Impossible 2.

And here he is doing his best chimo impersonation. Who wouldn't want to hire this face and those stunning locks!

It's a hard life being jobless students!
